1965 Al Ferrara Game Worn Jersey. Though "The Bull," who grew up as a fan of the Dodgers in the Brooklyn of his childhood, did not see action during the season of 1964, the nice wear on this home white flannel leads us to conclude that the jersey was recycled for the 1965 season. It is listed as a '65 gamer for that reason. "Dodgers 20" appears in classic blue and red felt on the chest, with number "20" repeated on the verso. "Spalding [size] 44" labeling and an embroidered "Ferrara 64" appear on the outside of the front left tail, while inside is found a washing instructions label with "Set 1 1964" flap tag affixed. A few inconsequential moth holes are present in the blue felt on front and verso, doing very little to hinder eye appeal. A solid representation of a jersey almost certainly worn during the Dodgers' World Championship season. LOA from Dave Bushing. LOA from Lou Lampson.
