1963 Frank Oceak Game Worn Pittsburgh Pirates Uniform. Only the cap is missing from this complete Bucs ensemble deriving from the personal collection of Pirates scout Peter Castiglione. The number "44" road grey vest was originally that of Frank Oceak, best remembered as the third base coach for Bill Mazeroski's historic 1960 World Series walk-off blast. Interior button path holds "MacGregor Set 1 1963" label, while interior collar provides "MacGregor size 42" tag. "Castiglione" is written in marker just below. Raglan undershirt holds "Rawlings 44" label at interior collar, with "Castiglione 35" written in marker on verso. Matching grey flannel pants are tagged "MacGregor size 34" with "Set 1 1954" swatch. Bumblebee stirrups have embroidered numbers "23" and "26" at bottom. We've even got the original Pirates belt. A mix of vintages and players, but the aesthetics all match up for a gorgeous display. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
