1963 Frank Crosetti Game Worn New York Yankees Jersey. Derek Jeter has claimed ownership of the Yankees' number 2, but for nearly a quarter-century the pinstriped deuce belonged to this man, who earned six World Championships as a player and eleven more as a coach. It's been said that Crosetti waved home more than 16,000 runners from the third-base coaching box, and this jersey would have found him directing traffic for Mantle, Berra and Howard season of 1963.

A tremendous example, it features an original logo patch on the front and number on the back, while the proper Spalding size 42 tagging is in the tail, and "63" is marked below. In addition, a swatch with "Crosetti" remains in the collar, while all but one button remains original. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
