1963 Floyd Baker Game Worn Minnesota Twins Jersey. A versatile infielder during his thirteen seasons of Big League service as a player, Baker was bestowing his wisdom upon a new generation in a coaching capacity when he suited up in this rare road grey Minnesota Twins flannel dating to the third season since the Senators' relocation. "Twins" is scripted across the chest in well worn navy and red tackle twill, with "53" applied in similar fashion to verso. Team logo patch remains affixed at left sleeve. Embroidered "Baker" swatch at interior collar has popped some stitches but remains firmly affixed, while "Baker 53 42 63" is embroidered directly into the body of the jersey at lower left front exterior tail. Just above is "Spalding [size] 42" labeling. One replaced button. A fine specimen which almost certainly saw secondary usage at the minor league level following Baker's ownership due to the considerable wear evident. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
