1963-67 Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves Game Worn Jersey. The Milwaukee Braves were the most popular team in the state of Wisconsin during the 1950's. Less than a decade later, the Braves bolted for greener pastures in Atlanta. Presented for bidder consideration is a Braves franchise flannel jersey. The labeling period dates this garment to 1963-67. Undoubtedly, this was used as a backup in case an extra jersey was needed. The two-color tackle twill identifiers show outstanding wash wear. Navy piping surrounds the neckline and runs down the button path. A screaming Indian patch is sewn over the left sleeve. Applied in the tail is a "Rawlings [size] 44" jersey. LOA from MEARS, Authentic.
