    Description

1962 Tommy Aaron Game Worn Atlanta Braves Jersey - Rookie Year. He and Henry hold the MLB record for most career home runs by two brothers with 768. Aaron The Lesser wore the exemplar seen here during his rookie campaign in 1962.

The Milwaukee home zip-front flannel displays "Braves" diagonally across the chest with "28" offset below and on verso, in a larger format, in faded red/black felt. Other notable design elements include raglan sleeves and original Screaming Brave patch on left sleeve. Also, there is a "Wilson 44" label in the outer left tail.

Condition notes: The gold backing on the black felt tomahawk with red embroidery, which underscores the team identifier, is loose, Also, the felt swatch which reported the player name and season is no longer present and the front zipper is not functioning. Furthermore, the flannel exhibits some moth holes and cream colored toning.

Still, this remains a very attractive style and would display admirably once the zipper is repaired. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
