1962-65 Tommie Aaron Game Worn Milwaukee Braves Jersey. While Tommie Aaron only contributed thirteen home runs to the total, he is in the record books as him and older brother Hank have the most home runs in baseball history by a pair of siblings. The duo clubbed 768 round trippers in their years of service. This "Wilson size 44" jersey was worn by the younger Aaron when he called Milwaukee home. We date this flannel zip-up (jersey unzips only half way) to 1962-65. The team's tomahawk design is featured on front with "28" being fashioned on both sides. A laughing Brave logo is affixed over the left sleeve. Navy/red/navy piping accentuates the sleeve ends and runs from the neck down the zipper. Although no longer present, there is an outline of where a felt swatch resided in the collar. A lone Wilson size tag is sewn in the tail. A few small moth holes appear on the reverse and there is a larger hole near the front set of numbers. A perfect mate for that Hank Aaron gamer. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
