    Description

1961 Ted Wieand Game Worn New York Yankees Jersey. Ted Wieand had a front row seat for the beginning of the M&M Boys. While he never made it to the field of play during the 1961 season, Wieand was rostered on the team for the first month before being sent down to the minors by Ralph Houk. This "Spalding [size] 44" pinstriped jersey was worn by Wieand when he was with the club in 1961. Good wear is shown. A number change was instituted and changed to "66" by the team. Sewn in the collar is a single swatch with "Wieand" chainstitched. A Spalding label and size indicator appear in the tail. The inner tail includes a washing instructions label and "Set 1 1961" flag tag. LOA from Heritage Auctions.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
