1961 Milwaukee Braves Alternate Sample Jersey by Wilson. Attractive cream-colored flannel jersey has a zipper front with red and midnight lettering, numbering and piping. "Braves" is scripted across the chest with "11" offset below and to the left and also on the verso. Fabulous "Screaming Indian" patch appears on the left sleeve. Tagging includes "Wilson 44" in the collar and tail with "1961" on a felt swatch. The jersey is most likely an alternate sample manufactured by Wilson and offered to the Braves but it was never worn or used in a Major League game.
