1961 Dan Dobbek Game Worn Minnesota Twins Jersey - First Season in Minnesota. The state of Minnesota had baseball fever in 1961 when the Twins were born. The first campaign saw a seventh-place finish. Outfielder Dan Dobbek slipped into this "Spalding size 44" jersey during his last season of Major League action. Heavy use is exhibited on the button-up flannel with consistent puckering on the two-color tackle twill underscored team name and numbers. An original Twins team patch resides on the left sleeve. "Dobbek" is applied to a swatch in the collar while "Dobbek 22 44 61" is straight stitched in the tail. Remnants of where a Spalding tag once stood are visible. A washing instructions tag is sewn inside. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
