1960's Philadelphia Phillies Game Worn Jerseys Lot of 2. Everybody loves the MLB Centennial patch, and you'll find one sewn to the left sleeve of each of the presented jerseys, worn on the road by a pair of ballplayers from the City of Brotherly Love. Fourteen-year vet of the Phillies franchise Chris Short once owned one of them, as his surname and the number "67" are embroidered upon a swatch sewn into the collar, suggesting the shirt was initially issued two years earlier. Chenille "Phillies" spans the chest, with number "41" similarly applied to verso. The other jersey belonged to Bo Belinsky, whose name is found in the collar swatch and his chenille number "33" on verso. Another swatch in the tail notes "1965," the first year of issue. Each jersey holds a "Wilson" manufacturer's label in the tail. Wear is very heavy, almost certainly from secondary use in the minors through the 1969 season, but each shirt presents nicely. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
