1960's New York Mets Game Worn Collection from the Casey Stengel Collection. For Hall of Fame game used uniform collectors on a budget, we offer this humble lot of garments from Casey's days leading the hapless Mets. Two pairs of white socks and blue stirrups kept Stengel looking sharp, even in defeat, and a pair of boxers embroidered with his first name and the Mets logo proved him a New Yorker to the core. Finally we have a masterfully knitted pair of wool socks celebrating the 1949 World Championship, with every player's name painstakingly spelled out in block lettering. All show wear but present beautifully.
