1960 Hal Naragon Game Worn Washington Senators Jersey. Home white pinstriped flannel was owned and worn by Senators back-up catcher Naragon, who instilled the garment with light use during summer afternoons at Griffith Stadium in our nation's capital. Navy and red tackle twill creates a scripted "Senators" across the chest, and a matching number "8" on verso. Wonderful team logo patch remains affixed at left sleeve. Note that "Senators" and sleeve patch are modern replacements; number "8" is original. Interior collar holds embroidered swatch reading "Naragon," with a second embroidered swatch in the tail announcing the "1960" vintage. Just above is the "Wilson [size] 42" manufacturer's label. Marvelous condition with not a distracting stain or hole to mention. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
