Description
1959 St. Louis Cardinals Full Unused Uniform in Original Packaging.Intriguing lot offers a look at how uniforms were delivered to the Cardinals franchise. Apparently this player didn't end up making the cut, as all contents are like-new. Road gray flannel jersey features the classic birds and bat chenille logo on the chest but no numbers on reverse. Lower left front tail is tagged, "Rawlings Hall of Fame Flannel [size] 46" above "T. Corbett 59" embroidered directly into the jersey body. Matching pants are similarly attributed and tagged, size "38." We've even got the original belt, the original cap (broken visor but otherwise pristine, size 7 1/4), and original stirrups. A few small spots of age toning are evident upon close inspection, but this is true "deadstock." Original "Rawlings" packaging is tattered but complete.
