    Description

1958 Billy Moran Game Worn Cleveland Indians Rookie Jersey. The starting second baseman of the 1962 American League All-Star team was just a twenty-four year old rookie when he suited up in this home white pinstriped gamer at Cleveland Stadium. Garment exhibits fine wear from a season featuring 115 appearances but is perfectly preserved without the spotting or moth damage typical of antique flannel. "Indians" arches across the front in red and navy tackle twill, with "16" similarly applied to reverse. Chief Wahoo patch remains in place on left sleeve. Interior collar holds embroidered "1958" swatch, while tail supplies proper "Wilson [size] 42" label and a washing instructions tag. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
