    Description

1957 Johnny O'Brien Game Worn Pittsburgh Pirates Jersey. Home white flannel vest bears a replacement number "2" on verso, but the "6 57" embroidery at lower left front tail attributes the shirt to utility man O'Brien, who pitched and played middle infield for the Bucs in 1957. Black and yellow felt "Pirates" across the chest is original as are all other aspects beyond the rear numeral. "Rawlings Hall of Fame Flannel [size] 40" label in tail. Heavy wear is likely due in part to secondary use in the farm system. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
