1954 Jimmy Piersall Game Worn & Signed Boston Red Sox Jersey. His immortality in the sport is assured by the film, "Fear Strikes Out," which dramatizes Piersall's mental health struggles as a Big Leaguer. He would write in his autobiography, "Probably the best thing that ever happened to me was going nuts. Who ever heard of Jimmy Piersall until that happened?" but he was a solid player for a time, earning his first of two All-Star nods the season he suited up in the provided road grey flannel.

The time-tested style announces "Boston" in block lettering across the chest and Piersall's number "37" on reverse. Lower left front tail bears "Tim McAuliffe" labeling above embroidered text reporting, "1954, 44, 3 in, 37." Fine game wear and a 9/10 blue sharpie signature on the chest. Note: the identifiers ("Boston" and "27") have been restored and the two bottom buttons are no longer present. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
