1952 Bill Dickey Game Worn New York Yankees Jersey. He entered the Majors as a twenty-one year old rookie for the World Champion 1928 Yankees, earning eight rings as a player before transitioning to a coaching career with the team he so ably served behind the plate. Here we present a road grey flannel from yet another World Championship season in the Bronx, worn half a dozen years after he hung up his catcher's mask. "New York" is applied in navy felt to the chest in bold block lettering, with number "33" on verso rather than the playing-days number "8" now worn by fellow Hall of Fame catcher Yogi Berra. Embroidered felt swatch at interior collar reads "Dickey 1952," and tail holds "Wilson [size] 44" and washing instructions tagging. Light coach's wear evident, leaving the jersey in extraordinarily fine condition. LOA from Heritage Auctions.

I am completely satisfied, more to the point, absolutely ecstatic, about not only the proceeds but the wonderful professional manner every aspect of my little consignment was handled.
