1951 Joe Collins Game Worn New York Yankees Jersey. What a year to be a Yankee--the only season shared by pinstriped legends Joe DiMaggio and Mickey Mantle, and culminating in a World Series victory over the New York Giants following Bobby Thomson's improbable pennant-winning "Shot." This road grey gamer was sported by the team's starting first baseman, who would retire with six World Championship rings on his fingers. "New York" is applied in block navy felt to the chest, with number "41" applied to verso. "Spalding" label appears at interior collar with "Dry Clean Only" and size "44" labels below. Embroidered directly into the jersey body at lower left front tail is "J Collins 51." Solid wear is evident, but none of the damage typically found in six decade-old flannel. LOA from Heritage Auctions.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
