    Description

1951 Gene Woodling Game Worn New York Yankees Jersey. Road grey flannel gamer dates to a historic season for the Yanks when both Joe DiMaggio and Mickey Mantle patrolled the outfield together. "New York" in navy blue felt on the chest and number "14" on verso are original and unaltered. "A.G. Spalding & Bros [size] 44" tagging inside collar appears above an admittedly unusual "G. Woodling 1951-2" embroidered swatch, though we're confident it is simply a labeling anomaly. Solid wear from a World Championship season that saw Joe and Mickey's fellow outfielder crack the top thirty in American League MVP voting. LOA from Heritage Auctions.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
