    Description

1949 Les Moss Game Worn St. Louis Browns Jersey. Five seasons before the long-suffering American League whipping boys pulled up stakes and headed for a new life as the Baltimore Orioles, Moss suited up in this grey roadster as the Browns' starting catcher. You'll instantly note that the "Browns" on the chest has been removed, likely for secondary use in the minors, but the shadow of the original letters and remnants of the stitching remain. The unique three-dimensional number "10" survives on verso. "Rawlings St. Louis" label appears at interior collar above size "44" and "Dry Clean Only" tags, and "Les Moss 49" is embroidered directly into the jersey body at lower left front tail. Zipper on front remains fully functional. Some scattered small moth holes and rust stains appear, but no other condition issues of note. LOA from Heritage Auctions.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
