    Description

1946-49 Lynwood "Schoolboy" Rowe Game Worn Philadelphia Phillies Uniform. Tough four-year style was worn on the mound by the tall right-hander soon after his return to the game following two years of WWII service. The road grey jersey features a heavy red and blue felt scripted "Phillies" across the chest and number "19" on verso, digits worn only by Rowe during the term of this uniform style's use. The tail has been hand cut, losing tagging in the surgery, but the jersey is otherwise original and unaltered. The matching pants are dated specifically to "49" by an embroidered swatch in the fly and to "Rowe" by another in the waistband. Here we encounter "Wilson [size] 42" labeling as well. Both uniform pieces exhibit strong wear with no distracting condition flaws beyond the aforementioned jersey shortening. A beautiful and rare matched set, ideal for mannequin display. LOA from Heritage Auctions.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
