    Description

1945 Stan Musial Worn US Navy Uniform. Dress blues were owned and worn by the St. Louis Cardinals legend for his term of service to his nation during the Second World War. The heavy navy flannel shirt and matching pants show wear but no damage, presenting perfectly. Musial's signature provides attribution on a tag at rear exterior collar that reads, "Manufactured by Naval Clothing Factory. We find an identical label at interior waistband of the pants, but the handwriting upon it has faded beyond legibility. A fine memento of the patriotism that decimated the talent pool of Major League Baseball but helped to free the world from tyranny during mankind's most important military conflict.
Letter of provenance from the Musial family.
