    Description

1939 Lubbock Hubbers Game Worn Uniform. The sleeve patch alone is worth the price of admission on this gorgeous full uniform spawned by the Texas League the year of our Baseball Centennial. The magnificently preserved jersey features red felt design at collar and button path, and red letter "L" over heart. Four of the original five buttons remain on the front, and number "4" holds steady on verso. "Red Fox Athletic Clothing" label is affixed at interior collar. Matching pants are untagged and exhibit multiple team repairs, but present very nicely and make for a gorgeous ensemble when paired with the jersey. A splendid matched set from one of the most important seasons in baseball history. LOA from Lou Lampson.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
