    Description

1936 Pat Ankenman Game Worn St. Louis Cardinals Jersey. You almost certainly don't recognize the player, whose entire Major League career consisted of fifteen games, but you'll know and love the style, nearly identical to the one worn by the fabled Gashouse Gang that won it all two seasons earlier. The tiny infielder (five-feet four inches, 125 pounds) didn't play a road game in 1936, so the heavy wear on this garment must derive from secondary farm club action. The classic birds and bat "Cardinals" logo appears on the chest, which bears heavy repairs. Trim is likewise heavily worn and occasionally lost. Verso holds red and navy felt number "29." Interior collar label has worn to illegibility, but we can still read the size "38" sub-tag. Lower left front tail is embroidered "Ankenman." A tough style. LOA from Heritage Auctions.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
