1996 Los Angeles Lakers Opening Night Full Ticket and Pin - Senate Seat. Opening night at the Great Western forum, November 1, 1996, was one of the most historic nights in the history of the Los Angeles Lakers. It marks the very first game of the Shaq/Kobe era. Unique in that the high schooler and now NBA rookie Kobe Bryant actually sat on the bench the entire game. For some reason, Coach Del Harris chase to have him sit and watch his first game as an NBA player and would be a future first ballot Hall of Fame career. The star of this lot is this unused Senate Seat, the mind-ping of owner Jerry Buss who created these seats with special privileges for fans of both the Lakers and the Kings. Also included is this mint pin recognizing the first game of star center, Shaquille O'Neal as a Laker.

    Guide Value or Estimate: $75 - $150.
