Description

1993 Jim Abbott No-Hitter Full Ticket PSA Mint 9. Despite being born with no right hand, pitcher Jim Abbott went on to a successful big league career, winning 87 games in a decade in the majors. He pitched for the University of Michigan and later the 1988 US Olympic gold medal-winning team. Abbott was a member of the California Angels before being traded to the Bronx. It was with the New York Yankees that the inspirational lefty threw a no-hitter vs. the Cleveland Indians on September 4, 1993.
