Description

1982-98 Cal Ripken, Jr. First Game of Streak Ticket Stub & Last Game of Streak Full Ticket. It was considered the unbreakable record. Lou Gehrig, the "Iron Horse," played a record 2,130 consecutive games, brought to an end by his fatal illness. Yet, in 1995, Cal Ripken Jr. broke the record, and went on to finish at 2,632 games. While finding his final streak ticket from September 19, 1998 isn't all that difficult, just try to locate one from his first game. Well, we have done just that, and paired the two together.

The full ticket from the final game of the streak against the New York Yankees is in Excellent condition other than two staple holes. Meanwhile, the ultra rare first ticket, a simple stub from May 30, 1982, exhibits a spot of paper loss on the surface and is slabbed in a PSA Authentic holder. Certainly one of the keys of all modern tickets.
