In the 1981 World Series, Reggie Jackson contributed to the New York Yankees' efforts against the Los Angeles Dodgers, although the series ended in a loss for the Yankees in six games. Jackson hit .333 in the series, including a home run in Game 4 that briefly kept the Yankees in contention. However, he was limited to just three games due to a leg injury, which reduced his overall impact.
