Description

1981 Pawtucket vs. Rochester Full Tickets To The Longest Baseball Game Played Both PSA Graded. Like DiMaggio's hitting streak and Rose's hits record, we highly doubt another baseball game will last 33 innings. These two tickets were issued for both ends of the Rochester Red Wings and Pawtucket Red Sox games. The game started Saturday April 18, 1981 and was finally suspended at 4:07 a.m. after 32 innings. Play picked up the next day and the game was decided after one more inning when the Paw Sox plated a run. By the way two of the participants in the game were Cal Ripken Jr. and Wade Boggs. The white ticket, graded PSA NM-MT 8, was used for the April 18, 1981 contest or the start. The pink version, graded PSA NM 7, was accepted the following day for the conclusion. Both tickets are crease free and the finest we have seen. Encapsulated by PSA.
