1977 ALCS Game 5 New York Yankees vs. Kansas City Royals Full Ticket Signed By George Brett & Graig Nettles, PSA NM 7 Auto 10. Game 5 of the 1977 American League Championship Series (ALCS) was an intense matchup between the New York Yankees and the Kansas City Royals, played on October 9, 1977, at Royals Stadium. Due to clutch hitting in the top of the ninth from Reggie Jackson, Thurman Munson, and Chris Chambliss and the save by ALCS MVP Sparky Lyle, the Yankees won 5-3, clinching the American League on their way to winning the World Series.

The game is particularly remembered for the brawl in the bottom of the first inning. George Brett hit an RBI triple off Ron Guidry. He slid over third base and shoved Graig Nettles who retaliated by kicking Brett, who came up swinging punches at Nettles' head causing both benches to empty.

Offered is a full ticket to the game. Brett and Nettles signed the ticket. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, NM 7 Auto 10.
