1970 Pittsburgh Pirates Final Game at Forbes Field Full Ticket PSA Authentic. With Three Rivers Stadium waiting in the wings, the curtain finally came down on Forbes Field as the Pirates closed the joint Sunday, June 28, 1970. Plenty of heroes played in front of the home crowd throughout the years. Paying tribute to that last Sunday afternoon in the old stadium is this full ticket. The ducat has a crease on the reverse and specking on back - EX in our estimation. We searched the archives and only found one other full ticket from this contest to reach the auction block.
