Description

1970 Bobby Murcer Signed Ticket from Four-Home Run Doubleheader. Murcer joined an esteemed brotherhood of only Lou Gehrig, Johnny Blanchard and Mickey Mantle on June 24, 1970, as he launched home runs in four consecutive at-bats during a Cleveland Indians doubleheader at Yankee Stadium. Presented is the only ticket stub from that game of which we are aware that was subsequently autographed by the red-hot long ball artist. Murcer adds a "4 HR's" notation to his 10/10 black ink signature. Original owner's notation appears on back of stub, and a note from that owner to Murcer likewise attends. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Letter of provenance from family of Bobby Murcer.
