Description

1959 Milwaukee Braves Season Pass - Harvey Haddix Near Perfect Game. Harvey Haddix's near-perfect game on May 26, 1959, is remembered as one of the most extraordinary pitching performances in baseball history. Pitching for the Pittsburgh Pirates against the Milwaukee Braves, Haddix retired the first 36 batters he faced, carrying a perfect game into the 13th inning. Despite his brilliance, errors and a misplayed bunt in the bottom of the 13th ended the bid, and he ultimately lost 1-0 when Joe Adcock hit a double that-after a baserunning mix-up-was scored as a game-ending hit. Though officially not credited as a perfect game or even a no-hitter, Haddix's effort is celebrated as perhaps the greatest display of pitching endurance and precision the game has ever seen.

Offered is a season pass to view the squad. Games it was good for included the Harvey Haddix 12-inning (near) perfect game. Mild wear from age exhibited.
