1948 Roy Campanella Major League Debut Ticket Stub, PSA VG-EX 4. A year earlier it had been his teammate Jackie Robinson who made the Brooklyn Dodgers' opening game one for the ages, but the 1948 National League season kicked off with a Big Apple rivalry that saw the debut of a fellow future Hall of Famer who would come to be affectionately called "Campy." The Polo Grounds stub from the Bums' visit to the Giants' home ballpark is dated "April 20, 1948" and emblazoned with the red text "Opening Day." Stub is assessed at a VG-EX 4 level. Encapsulated by PSA, VG-EX 4.
