1934 New York Yankees vs. Detroit Tigers Ticket Stub, Babe Ruth's 700th Home Run, PSA/DNA Good 2. On July 13th, 1934, tens of thousands of fans would witness a baseball milestone that would not be repeated for another four decades. Babe Ruth, the "Sultan of Swat," launched his 700th career home run. Already deteriorating in health after years of hard living, Ruth was not the same player he had been, but still had the power he was known for, finishing with twenty-two long bombs that final season with the Yankees. The offered ticket stub has been graded Good 2 by PSA/DNA due to the common uneven tear and surface blemishes on the blank back. A historic ticket in nice, presentable condition, this is a fitting tribute to the original home run king.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
