    Description

1929 World Series Game 1 Full Ticket, PSA EX 5 - Highest Graded Example! The Connie Mack-led Philadelphia A's matched up against the Chicago Cubs for the 1929 World Series. A scholar of the game, Mack pulled out some tricks for his team that proved to be the difference maker. With seven of the eight regulars for the Cubs batting righty, Mack benched superstar southpaws Lefty Grove and Rube Walberg and instead started only right-handers. They came through for their manager, with Howard Ehmke striking out thirteen in his complete game victory in Game 1. The offered ticket is an extremely rare full example from that first game of the series, memorializing Ehmke's stellar performance. Encapsulated by PSA. The best example known to exist.
