    Description

1928 St. Louis Cardinals World Series Game 3 Ticket Stub. While the '28 Redbirds had a stellar lineup that included the likes of Jesse Haines, Pete Alexander, Rabbit Maranville, Jim Bottomley, Chick Hafey, Frankie Frisch and more, they ran into the Murderer's Row powerhouse of the New York Yankees in the World Series, crashing out in four games. Here we present a fine ticket stub from Game 3 played at Sportsman's Park, a 7-3 triumph for the Bronx Bombers. A vertical crease near the right edge is the only significant cosmetic misgiving.
