The Iron Horse blasts ten Fall Classic long balls

1928-37 Lou Gehrig World Series Home Run Games Ticket Stub Complete Run Display with Autograph. With ten home runs in 150 Fall Classic plate appearances, the noble Iron Horse trails only Mantle, Ruth, Berra and Snider for World Series long balls, sharing fifth place with a fellow famous for delivering beneath the game's brightest spotlight, Reggie "Mr. October" Jackson. This is the first time we've ever encountered this ticket run. Beyond the Iron Horse heroics, there are some key events memorialized within the grouping, including the 1928 clincher and the 1932 contest immortalized by Ruth's "Called Shot."
