Description
1925 World Series Press Ticket Signed by Ruth, Cobb and McGraw. The back of this 1925 World Series Press Ticket is signed by three giants of the game - Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb and John McGraw. It is hard to imagine capturing three more worthy baseball dignitaries at this singular event, held in 1925 at Forbes Field in Pittsburgh. The borders of the ticket are reinforced with vintage clear tape which partially obscures the three signatures, but all three are still clearly legible. Cobb has signed with unusual "Tyrus R. Cobb" variation and McGraw with full "John J. McGraw." Also included is torn stub with paper missing from the reverse. JSA Auction LOA.Auction Info
