1925 Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb & John McGraw Signed World Series Ticket Stub. Though not part of The Christy Walsh Collection featured within this auction, the legendary sports agent is the man to thank for this impressive relic's existence, as it was he who brought the baseball legends who signed the back of the presented ticket stub together at Pittsburgh's Forbes Field. This rare "Press Ticket" was issued to a journalist who took advantage of the occasion to acquire autographs from Ruth, Cobb and McGraw, who appear on the verso of the stub in 9/10 and better black ink. As our catalog imagery will indicate, the stub is repaired with vintage tape which affects the autographs, but the signatures remain as bold as ever.
