From the inaugural season of the old Yankee Stadium to the inaugural season of the new Yankee Stadium, they're all here, all twenty-six glorious October (and one November) days that the Bronx Bombers ended a Major League season as the last team standing. If there has every been an auction lot that more perfectly summarizes the mystique of the New York Yankees franchise, we've yet to encounter it. It's a collection that will surely require further attention in the coming years, but we are willing to bet that the winning bidder will be pleased to make that investment.
