    Description

1921 World Series Ticket Stubs Full Run of 8. The Yankees' first Fall Classic appearance, and likewise the first World Series battled entirely within a single stadium, the Polo Grounds shared by the Yanks and the Giants. Presented are stubs for all eight games of the contest, each surviving in impressive EX+ condition. Note that Game Four is missing the rain check portion, as apparent in our lot imagery. Game One and Two stubs have a minor amount of paper loss on verso from the gate tear; all others are clean and unmarked. Stubs from this Series are rare, and a full run is all but unprecedented. The last of the best-of-nine World Series.
