1919 World Series Game Five Ticket Stub, PSA VG 3. Conspiratorial pitcher Lefty Williams and his Reds counterpart Hod Eller were both brilliant through five innings this day, neither allowing a runner past first base. But some questionable fielding by Hap Felsch cleared the way for four Cincinnati runs in the fourth, and the visitors added a fifth in the ninth to complete a five to nothing shutout. This rare stub was tucked into the pocket of a stunned White Sox fan on October 6, 1919 as the American League Champs moved to within a game of Series defeat. Some minor paper loss at the right edge accounts for the rather stingy grade, as the stub otherwise presents very well. Encapsulated by PSA, VG 3..
