Description
1908 World Series Game Four Full Ticket. This is a Fall Classic immortalized by the 108 years of World Championship drought that awaited the victorious Chicago Cubs upon its completion. Oddly, the 1908 World Series began in Detroit, went to Chicago for Games Two and Three, and then back to Detroit for Games Four and Five--this ticket would represent the Game Four shutout Cubs victory that would allow them to close out the Tigers the next day. This is a clean, beautiful specimen more than worthy of professional grading. Note that the 1907 Opening Day and 1907 World Series tickets in this auction derive from the same source.Auction Info
