1959 Cleveland Indians vs. New York Yankees Scorecard (5/1).
An early season matchup of two teams that would fall just short of the pennant in 1959 saw the Cleveland Indians top the New York Yankees 4-20 in extra innings. The Tribe's hurler, Cal McLish, tossed all ten innings, allowing only 7 hits. The offense was paced by Rocky Colavito, who homered in the fifth and Tito Francona who sent the fans home happy with a three-run blast in the 10th. Mickey Mantle got an off day for the Yanks while Berra, Kubek, and Skowron tried to fill the void. 36,682 in attendance.

The offered scorecard from this game shows moderate-to-heavy wear, mostly along the spine. The cover shows spots of tape residue and staining. All interior pages are still intact and the scorecard portion has been partially filled out.
