Description
1957 World Series Multi-Signed Program. The 1957 World Series was a thrilling matchup between the Milwaukee Braves and the New York Yankees, marking the Braves' first championship since moving from Boston to Milwaukee. The series went seven games, with the Braves defeating the Yankees 4-3 to capture their first-and only-World Series title in Milwaukee.Led by Hank Aaron, who hit .393 with 3 home runs, and Eddie Mathews, the Braves' offense delivered in key moments. But the star of the series was pitcher Lew Burdette, who earned World Series MVP honors by winning three complete games, including a shutout in Game 7 at Yankee Stadium. The 1957 Series was a defining moment for Milwaukee baseball and a rare World Series defeat for the Yankees during their dynasty years.
Offered is a program from the New York side of the Fall Classic signed by Hank Aaron, Mickey Mantle, Enos Slaughter, Yogi Berra, Whitey Ford, Red Schoendienst, Eddie Mathews, Tony Kubek, Lew Burdette, Charlie Keller, and Andy Pafko. Thirty-seven signatures in total. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
