1939 Babe Ruth Signed Testimonial Dinner Program. Just four days after his old sidekick Lou Gehrig made his last appearance in a Yankees uniform at the clinching fourth game of a World Series sweep, the Babe thrilled guests at a Long Island testimonial dinner honoring local businessmen with his presence. Ruth has applied his bold 9/10 blue fountain pen ink signature to the 5x7" cover of the program. A couple corner bends do not affect the autograph.
