1927 World Series Program (New York Yankees). Commemorating the finest baseball team known to man is this program sold exclusively at Yankee Stadium. Ruth and Gehrig saw to it the series was over quickly as the Yankees swept the overmatched Pirates in four games. Given the pencil notations on front, we are safe in assuming this was sold prior to the Game 3, an 8-1 Yankees win. "Oct. 7th" is written in the top right corner while two names are also notated. Condition qualifications include three sets of punch holes, moderate chipping on the uppermost left corner and lower right corner. The cover and first two pages are affected on the bottom while the upper left corner's wear goes halfway through the scored publication. VG in our estimation.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
