Description

1926 World Series Program (New York). During the Roaring Twenties, the Yanks won the World Series in 1923, 1927 and 1928. But they also lost in 1921, 1922 and 1926. This 1926 program found the Bombers matched up against the St. Louis Cardinals in the Fall Classic, a battle which St. Louis won in seven games. The cover features photographs of Hall of Famers Miller Huggins and Rogers Hornsby, while the interior features portraits of each team member. The front and back covers are detached but present. Also, the front cover has a tear at the top, while the back cover has a vertical crease at the center.
